After saying goodbye to Will Thomas, the Unics team in Kazan started looking for a change and pointed the radar at China.

Sportando announces that the Russian club has taken an interest in Asia, leaving a deep mark Franklinas Jamaalas. For a 30-year-old 196cm tall defender, this would be his debut in Europe.

Franklin has spent seven seasons in China, with brief visits to the G League and Puerto Rico. He scored 24.8 points per game last season and until then had averaged at least 30 points for five consecutive seasons.

The best for him was the 2015-2016 season, which was distinguished not only by performance, but also by triple-doubles: an average of 41 minutes, 34 points (35 percent of three points), 10.8 rebounds and 10, 3 assists.

Two years ago, he became the third player in Chinese league history to record a quadruple double: 42 points, 12 rebounds and 10 interceptions and 12 assists. Previously, only Hu Xuefeng and Chris Williams, who died in 2017, were successful.

In the 2013 National Basketball Association (NBA) rookie trade, he was called No. 41, but played just 24 games in the strongest league in the world.
