The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) reports that in 2020. October 19-22. Without permission from the National Public Health Center (NVSC), asymptomatic persons in contact with COVID-19 may leave the isolation area once to go to a pre-voting location for voters in self-isolation.

Protective equipment that covers the nose and mouth (masks, respirators, etc.) must be worn when voting. Voters must return to a place of self-isolation immediately after voting.

Isolated voters who have returned from abroad or have been in contact with COVID-19, with the exception of voters diagnosed with COVID-19 (coronavirus infection), will be able to vote early at their designated polling places:

In Vilnius – Laisvės ave. 5 (Litexpo Conference and Exhibition Center);

Kaunas – Avda Europos. 27 (Aleksotas Innovation Industrial Park);

In Šiauliai – Vilnius 297 (sports gym hall);

In Raseiniai – Algirdo str. 1 (Market).

Voting by isolated voters will take place over four days, October 19-22. from 7 pm to 8 pm

Voters who wish to vote in these polling stations do not need pre-registration, just have an identity document, wear a mouth and nose guard and have a personal pen. Isolated voters will be able to vote at these early voting locations regardless of their declared place of residence.

Voters must go to early voting locations exclusively for isolated voters in their own transportation. They are advised to go one by one. If two voters arrive in a vehicle, the second voter seated in the passenger seat must exit the vehicle and vote in the voting booth next to the vehicle. After the voter has voted, the surfaces of the voting booth will be sanitized.

Voters with Covid19 disease (coronavirus infection) and isolated voters who do not have the opportunity to vote early are invited to register to vote at home. Read more about voting at home HERE.
