Several foreign sources announce that the fight between J. Stoliarenko and J. Avila has been officially canceled.

Updated at 6:30 pm on J. Stoliarenko’s weigh-ins:

J.Stoliarenko came to the scale in rather uplifting humor and removed his training pants, showed two thumbs up, and walked on the scale. After about 5 seconds on the scale, Stoliarenko put his hands on his waist and began to lose his balance. While the official was still trying to determine the exact weight of the Lithuanian, J. Stoliarenko’s convulsions began and he fell off the scale. Fortunately, Stoliarenko did not lose consciousness, but was unable to stand up for some time.

After a while, Stoliarenko himself rose to his feet and returned to the scales. This time, the official overseeing the weighing procedure managed to measure the Lithuanian weight, which was 135.5 pounds. When it was necessary to get off the scale, J. Stoliarenko lost his balance again and leaned on the ground. The combatants were given fluids and shortly after the weigh-in procedure she was taken away on a stretcher. J.Stoliarenko was not unconscious the entire time.

The UFC has yet to make an official announcement on whether the J. Stoliarenko-J. Avila fight will take place. Both fighters officially gained weight, but doctors are likely to decide J. Stoliarenko’s health and caging. The commission tends to be strict when fighters pass out during weigh-ins, so there is a good chance that the fight will be canceled.
