According to Sigita Survilaitė-Mekionienė, CEO of Darnu Group, the newly built residential houses have the most important attributes of quality and comfort of life and perfectly complement the Paupis district.
“Neighborhoods designed by different architects create a distinctive multi-layered character and a unique character for the entire district. However, they are all united by the common goal that each building must be integrated into the surrounding nature and adapt to the requirements dictated by the history of the city, at the same time providing all the modern comforts for the daily life of the people of Paupi . ”Says S. Survilaitė-Mekionienė.
Most of the apartments are bought or reserved
When planning the neighborhoods of Paupis, much attention was paid to the surrounding infrastructure: convenient communication, provision of daily services, as well as high-quality features, exceptional architecture, synergy of residential, commercial and public functions. All residential neighborhoods have different closed courtyards with leisure and entertainment areas for both children and adults.
The finished rooms, the fourth and the first part of the seventh, were designed by the office of architect Tadas Balčiūnas and architect Andrius Juodpusis. The objects were built by the contractors UAB Naresta and UAB Baltijos pašvaistė. In these stages, 156 apartments and 3 commercial premises were offered to the market, the vast majority of which have already been bought or reserved, according to a press release.

Construction continues in Paupis
Construction of the second phase of the seventh quarter of the Paupio district is currently continuing, where a commercial part for offices and commercial premises is still being built, which will provide daily services to residents, employees and visitors of Paupio. At this stage, more than 100 apartments are being built.
It is also under construction in the district’s sixth quarter, where a total of 182 new apartments and 8 commercial premises will be built. As in the already built neighborhoods, this one also provides enclosed courtyards with seating areas, one of which will be converted into a unique open-air art gallery. In the spring, reconstruction work and facade management are also planned on a long-abandoned building on Aukštaičių Street, which will regain its residential purpose.
