According to the recommendations of the National Center for Public Health (NVSC), participants in events with dangerous contacts with these people were asked to isolate themselves and be tested for possible coronavirus infection.

Currently, it is recommended to isolate five employees of the Presidency.

Specialists do not recommend isolating the country’s leader Gitan Nausėda and First Lady Diana Nausėdienė, but they will also be given a prophylactic test.

According to the NVSC, a total of nine high-risk individuals have been identified who will be covered by 14 days of isolation; have already been contacted or will be contacted in the near future.

In addition, public health professionals continue to perform epidemiological diagnoses to assess the individual risks of other participants in the events.

In Lithuania, a total of 5,081 cases of the COVID-19 disease have been confirmed, 2,474 people are still ill and 2,494 have recovered.
