Tour operators have announced when they plan to resume flights.

According to the list of countries published by the Ministry of Health, from which you will not have to comply with the mandatory 14-day self-isolation, charter flights could be renewed first to Lithuania, already popular and well-known European countries: Greece, Bulgaria and Cyprus. after European countries.

“Tour operators are in constant contact with partners abroad and see how intensively Greece, Bulgaria and Cyprus are preparing to receive tourists. The safety of travelers is everyone’s top priority, therefore measures are already being planned security at airports, transport and hotels, ”says Milda Plepytė-Rainienė, director of the Lithuanian Tourism Association.

Safe travel will be ensured by maintaining longer distances than usual at airports, wearing masks throughout the journey, additional disinfectants on airplanes and during transport, and hotels also take many security measures. Your tour operator or travel agent will provide specific information about safe travel to each tourist before the planned trip.

Due to the possible resumption of July trips to other favorite countries of Lithuania (Spain, Turkey, Egypt, Tunisia), the decisions of the responsible institutions are still awaited. Those who planned to travel to the aforementioned countries as early as July are asked to wait: Tour operators or travel agencies will contact tourists as soon as they have accurate information.

Both companies have suspended their organized travel due to restrictions until the end of June. Travelers whose vacations have been disrupted by pandemic restrictions are offered to postpone their plans to a later date or purchase a travel voucher and plan their vacations later at no additional charge.
