The government anti-coronavirus government committee headed by Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis has decided that those arriving in Lithuania from the so-called three countries should try COVID-19 and complete two weeks of isolation.

The text has been supplemented by A. Veryga’s comments on the illicit lining of companies, as well as information on the decisions made by the Government regarding masks and events.

The government’s COVID-19 committee will make that decision at its Thursday morning meeting.

Later, the entire government approved the pertinent resolution. The Minister of Health, Aurelijus Very, has the power to approve a specific investigation and isolation procedure and a specific oil from which additional restrictive measures will be applied to those who arrive. This updated flow is expected to emerge in the coming days.

The case of people infected with coronavirus in Uzbekistan in Kaunas has clearly demonstrated that we need to improve the procedure for foreigners to come to Lithuania. The solution is this: Those who reach the so-called three non-OECD countries will have to take a test for COVID-19 and two weeks of isolation from the Facebook Prime Minister.

This decision was made after the identification of 20 companies infected with COVID-19 at the logistics company Hegelmann Transporte in Kaunas. Most sick Uzbek citizens arrived in Kaunas in early July to work as long-distance drivers.

At a government meeting, the Health Minister told reporters that the host company would have to train employees in three-part testing and isolation. We will certainly not finance anything, testing or isolation. It’s about moni or moni who will come, said the minister.

If they want to come to Lithuania, they have an interest, if it is a month and she wants to give birth to an employee, then she has to choose how to isolate her. If you are required to take the tests, you will also have to pay the company bill, he said.

R. Veryga added that failure to comply with the rules would lead to the deportation and legal liability of said foreigners.

I want to emphasize one more thing from the beginning. We will not tolerate such threats being reported in the media. speeches will go to town and ukrsiu to others, and similar or appropriate behavior will be responded to with seriousness and principle. Visas for such persons will be revoked, they will be deported to Lithuania, with their own S. Skvernelis Facebook account.

In this particular case, in my opinion, the police are already working, an investigation is underway and necessary measures will be taken, he added.

Approved decisions on mask and event

The Prime Minister also discussed possible decisions regarding the mandatory repeal of the mask use rule: on the use of masks. The Ministry of Health is tasked with establishing a specific criterion for one infected person for every 100,000 inhabitants. Once this has been accomplished, a mechanism will be established to consider and establish a mandatory mask for the two in certain areas, such as supermarkets, public transportation, and other places.

Currently, there is no need to wear a mandatory face mask again in certain places, says the Minister of Health. However, the government gave him the power to impose mandatory masks at points of sale, public transportation, and events, if necessary.

The prime minister also spoke on Facebook about the event on Thursday. In the near future, the responsible ministries will issue recommendations on the verification of the necessary security measures in the events, according to which the number of participants in the events will be unlimited from the end of September, said S. Skvernelis.

The government will consider on Thursday the proposal of the Ministry of Culture and Education to waive the limit on the number of events both outdoors and indoors.

According to the resolution adopted, of July 17. The events in the premises of the premises will not be able to attend more than 400 irov, from August 1. to 500, from August 16. up to 600 people, and from September 1, the number of participants will not be limited.

Up to 1,000 outdoor events can attend as many people as possible right now.

The current government resolution sets the number of participants in the event as of August 16.

If the government decides not to limit the number of September and March events, the event organizers will have more responsibility. They will have to check the distances between the irons, protective masks for both of them and so on.

It is also possible to review or cancel the plans presented by the ministries if the situation of the coronavirus in the country changes.

I note that we are talking about the current conditions at the moment. The epidemiological situation in Lithuania is and will continue to be constantly monitored if its bad requirements and rules change, said the Head of Government.
