It is unclear if the child fell on the concrete or grass, his condition is very serious. He was quickly transferred from the Marijampolė Hospital to the Kaunas Clinics.

“I think it is a serious injury: now it is difficult to predict trauma to the head and spine, how the condition will continue to develop. The trauma is severe enough,” said Eligijus Jucius, head of the Hospital’s intensive care unit. Marijampolė.

The disaster shocked all the neighbors. One of them said he had seen an ambulance: “I saw the ambulance standing up, the baby’s mother was sitting across the street,” he told a journalist while standing at the door.

Another neighbor said that she usually met the mother who pushed the stroller when she left the store, noting that the parents had not cared for their children until now. “There was nothing to raise suspicions,” he said.
