“We have been fighting for this for four years, so it feels great to finally get to first place. Very good emotions, especially seeing those players that we started training with here, and now we have brought the gold to Kaunas.

Silver-winning Hockey Punks coach Mindaugas Kieras admitted after the game that the gold was caused by one of his students’ mistakes, but said he has no regrets about the end of such a series.
“I am very happy that our team grew with each game. The first meeting with Kaunas was very difficult and we were wondering if we could compete with our competitors. However, we played better and better in each game and in my opinion we had to pick up. the gold in the fourth game in Vilnius, we started badly, which cost us the victory.
