Investments in the Teltonika Technological Center will amount to 20 million euros. These funds will help establish specialized design and test laboratories, robotic assembly lines and administrative facilities.

Special logistics spaces will also be created for the storage and supply of products at the Teltonika Technology Center. In addition to the work premises, modern recreation areas for employees, a training center and special educational activities for young people will be established. Students will be able to get acquainted with new technologies and participate in leisure clubs.

Molėtai promises to pay salaries at the capital level

Arvydas Paukštys, president of Teltonika IoT Group, who comes from Molėtai, highlights that this project is based more on social reasons than business, since large companies are established where there is already a supply of human resources.

“And we come to create jobs where not even so many specialists are needed. We plan to train all candidates separately and also plan to attract additional new employees not only from Molėtai, but also from the surrounding cities. However, we are hopeful that the beautiful lake nature of Moltai and the short distance to the capital will encourage young people to develop in this city, ”said A.Paukštys.

The director of the company promises to create well-paid jobs in Molėtai, which would not differ from the average salary in Vilnius in terms of his salary. Today, the average salary of more than a thousand employees of a group of companies exceeds 3,000 euros.

The mayor of Molėtai, Saulius Jauneika, was pleased that a well-known Lithuanian company had chosen Molėtai for its development and promised that the municipality would contribute to the training and preparation of future employees to work in the new technology center.

S. Jauneika also promises to help overcome bureaucratic hurdles that would impede the development of the company. The mayor is convinced that investment of this scale and profile will give the district a strong boost to development and will awaken the development of other initiatives and business entities that provide other services in the country.

It is also creating a technology park in Vilnius

At the end of 2020, the Teltonika group of companies also announced the implementation of the Teltonika High-Tech Hill technology park in Vilnius.

Over the next five years, the group expects not only to build a modern building complex, but also to create more than 2,000 additional high value-added jobs.

The technology center being developed in Molėtai will be an integral part of this joint project.

The total investment will amount to more than 220 million euros; part of this project is planned to move from Vilnius to Molėtai. With this step, the company hopes to solve the problem of land shortage in Liepkalnis and contribute to the development of the Molėtai region.
