“Today’s government decision shocked the organizers of non-formal education, starting on October 26. Non-formal education is either suspended throughout Lithuania or transferred to distance education.
Public announcements state that new restrictions on activities (leisure, bars, outlets) are subject to certain restrictions. However, non-formal education for children is subject to ⛔️ without exception.
Is this decision justified? In our opinion NO!

2️⃣ So far, no uncontrolled outbreaks of COVID -19 have been identified in non-formal education. Organizations do their best to ensure the safety of children and teachers / coaches. In the event of a positive case of infection, all NVSC actions are taken to prevent further spread of the infection.
3️⃣ Elementary students, preschoolers after fall break on November 3. they will return to classes but not to extracurricular activities, and their siblings will be locked up at home without the opportunity to interact live with teachers and friends and participate in their favorite activities.
