Protective masks
In the territories of these municipalities, people over 6 years of age must wear protective equipment (masks, respirators or other means) covering their nose and mouth in public places (both open and closed).
This requirement does not apply to people who play sports; High-performance sports and physical activity specialists, high-performance sports and physical activity instructors and judges who participate in high-performance sports exercises or competitions.
In addition, masks are not required in catering establishments while sitting at a table or bar, as well as during the provision of a service in which the service cannot be provided while the recipient of the service is wearing a mask; performers during events.
Masks should not be used by people with disabilities who, due to their health condition, cannot wear masks or whose use could be detrimental to a person’s health. These people are recommended to wear a face shield.
It is also optional to cover the face outside the residential area (cities, towns, villages, single-family homes, gardeners associations) and when there are no other people within a radius of 20 meters, except family members.
Restrictions on access to cultural, leisure, entertainment and sports facilities
The flow of service users and other visitors to cultural, leisure, entertainment and sports institutions will be limited: at least 10 m2. m the area of the facilities of the place of provision of the service by a recipient of the service or another visitor, and a distance of at least 2 meters must be guaranteed between staff, users of the service or other visitors. This requirement does not apply to high skill sports exercises.
It should be remembered that in the territories where local quarantine has been announced, among other things, there are also restrictions that apply throughout Lithuania.
