The 26-year-old 196cm defender with the team was unable to leave for Tokyo due to COVID-19 protocol, but the basketball player is expected to be able to join the team in Japan later this week.
Zach LaVine of the US team has undergone health and safety protocols and will not be traveling with the team to Tokyo today. USAB expects LaVine to be able to join the team in Tokyo later this week.

Bradley Beal will not help the United States national team due to the Quran virus at the Olympics, and Kevin Love withdrew because he did not feel fully recovered from a calf injury. They were replaced by JaVale McGee and Keldon Johnson.
LaVine defended the honor of the Chicago Bulls in the National Basketball Association (NBA) last season, scoring 27.4 points in 35 minutes, bouncing 5 balls and making 4.9 assists.
