“We started installing a year ago. At that time, there was no knowledge of the virus and quarantine. “We planned everything completely differently, but at first it was hampered by the first quarantine, then the second. Now we live in this day and try to squeeze out all the best. For now we offer coffee and delicacies to go, and in the future it will be possible to sit comfortably. There are also plans for a children’s play area, “said the cafe manager.

The name was born in his studies
When you visit the cozy café in the Velžis old-age building, you immediately notice the exclusive interior, which fascinates you from the first glance. When asked how such a unique cafe name and interior was born, the couple said the name was invented while still studying, and the interior was adapted to the name.
“During our studies, we were a company of four friends and one night, coming back from somewhere, we joked that we needed to open our bar. Each of us had our own thoughts. Our idea was a coffee shop offering coffee and pastries. At that point, we changed the names in the business, so we also laughed that our name would be GOOD too! Thus was born “Fox in the Tree”. We didn’t even consider the name, we really knew it would be like that, “Barzdas opened.

“We are from Panevėžys, but the man has a farm in Kerava village. That is why we spend a lot of time in these lands, especially in summer. We always felt that something was missing here when we passed by. Well, now we hear from future clients that there was a real lack of cozy cafes in Velžė, ”said Jūratė.
“For us it is important that people want to come, have coffee, tea and taste sweets. We will also supply snacks in the future. Our coffee is great for families and for everyone who loves coffee. Although the quarantine adjusted the plans, the coffee is still just as delicious, ”he laughed.
The bearded family claimed that they themselves were great coffee enthusiasts and that their favorite was coffee with milk. “In our coffee, it is especially smooth and delicious. So we definitely recommend everyone to give it a try, ”Simon said.

Opening hours will be adjusted
Currently the cafeteria is open from 10 am to 6 pm, but can be adjusted later if the need arises.
“The convenience here is that there is a nearby park where people take their dogs, so they can have coffee and take a leisurely walk while drinking and enjoying themselves,” Simon said.
