A woman living in a village told the court that she was visiting her sister on the eve of the violence. At that time, she was still married to her husband, although the latter, having had a common son, had been with his mother for some time.

That day, the couple showed up at home with their mother-in-law and their son, the injured husband. He started asking for a card because he wanted to buy yogurt. The victim did not hand over the letters. He then started threatening her, covered her head with tomato sauce, kicked her leg and hit her belly with his fist.

The conflict started in the room, then the victim went to the kitchen and there he began to beat her. The defendant kicked his foot and punched him in the fist, the victim stumbled because he was in a lot of pain, he could not stand up.

The woman did not call for an ambulance. Then she went with her husband to her mother. There, the man gave her painkillers, then allowed more painkillers. As the situation did not improve, the victim requested an ambulance.

The woman said that the defendant’s mother told her not to call the ambulance because the defendant is convicted and she herself taught the victim to lie and say that someone had hit her.

According to the victim, the mother approached her and stressed that she would not say that she had beaten her son. He was allegedly told to lie that other people beat him. He advised not to say that he was confused because no one would believe it. Finally, the spouse, however, called an ambulance.

The victim’s doctors asked her what had happened, but she was embarrassed and harsh at the time, so she didn’t tell the truth at first. He only counted it a few days after the operation.

During the pre-trial investigation, according to the woman, the spouse no longer allowed her to see her son. And once he broke into her home at night, the woman fled and called the police. The woman said the next time the spouse knelt down and asked for forgiveness, but she refused and told him to leave.

The woman recalled receiving threatening and disgusting messages from her husband. Although it was written from the son’s phone, she was sure that the messages were written by the spouse. She had no doubt that the son was against her because the boy mentioned that if the father was planted, he would no longer communicate with her.

“The son said he would withdraw the statement because otherwise it would never come back to me,” the mother recalled the boy’s painful words. The woman said that she had lived in marriage with her husband for 10 years.

The woman said the defendant had been violent against her in the past, but did not contact the police about it. The fact that the defendant beat her for not handing over the card was seen by both her son and the defendant’s mother.

At around 1 p.m., he took his mother to the doctors, then took his son out of school, and they all went to his wife’s village together. In the room, he found a drunken victim lying on the bed. I was tangled up, speaking incoherently.

The defendant and his mother made coffee. Then the victim got up from the bed, saw that she was injured, beaten. When asked what happened, she said that someone beat her and did not explain anything more specifically.

The man said he offered to call an ambulance, but the victim refused because she was drunk, she looked ugly, but did not deny that it hurt. After that, the defendant took her to her mother. The victim went up to the second floor and lay down.

The defendant said she kept coming to inquire about her health, the victim complaining of pain but was opposed to an ambulance being called. Later, when he saw that the victim’s health was deteriorating, the defendant called an ambulance and the victim was taken to hospital.

Tom D. said he has been at odds with the victim since 2015. All the problems stem from his alcohol abuse. According to the man, he drinks several times a month for a few days in a row. Both the defendant and his mother asked the victim to stop drinking, she was transported for treatment, but no one helped.

Why at the hospital she said she was beaten by the defendant, Tom D. could not answer. The defendant has already told the victim that it will be different. The victim then told him: “You will not highlight me.”

When the victim’s sister got divorced, she accused her husband of beating her. Therefore, according to Tom D., a similar situation has now arisen as well.

The man explained that he did not want to give explanations during the pre-trial investigation, did not name all the witnesses due to his distrust of the police. He had dealt with them before, so he supposedly incited their “anger”.

In addition, some people came to his house who threatened and conveyed the “wishes” of the victim’s brother, who was later attacked and beaten by Tom D. However, as a result, he did not go anywhere.

He hid with a social worker

A woman who worked in a social work center at the time also testified in court. He said that the victim was diagnosed with a problem with alcohol, child neglect and that the family was different at the time, so he had to interact a lot with her.

The woman complained that the man was chasing her, hurried back home, did not give her peace of mind. She thinks the man wanted her back, so he chased after her.

One day the witness was at work, they had a coffee break at that time. A witness saw a frightened victim at the door who said the man had led her into the room.

Then the social worker took her to her office and waited for what would happen next. Through the window, he saw the woman’s wife enter the building from the ward, but did not visit her because he apparently did not know which door.

There had been a case of violence before, a restriction had been placed on the spouse, there was no access to the victim, and the witness called the police.
