Facial masks or other protective equipment to cover the nose and mouth indoors are recommended for staff working in children’s summer camps, who run other non-formal educational programs for children, as well as kindergarten staff who are accepts children and accompanies parents.

The order of the Minister of Health of June 16 stipulates that non-formal education activities for children must be carried out in accordance with the principle of group isolation, children must constantly participate in the activities of the same group, trying to avoid contact between different groups.

It is recommended to avoid contact with external people and, if this is not possible, it is recommended to limit the communication time. The same requirements apply to preschool groups, it is required to ensure that joint activities are not organized for several groups of children.

According to the Minister’s order, both in kindergartens and in the place of non-formal provision of early childhood education services, conditions must be created for the hygiene of the hands of children and staff: cold water is provided and hot, liquid soap, towels, etc.

If children are fed, they should be fed in the same facilities as the activities. If such a facility is not available and is eaten only in communal dining rooms, children can be driven in preschool establishments to eat one group at a time according to a pre-established schedule.

In non-formal educational institutions for children, only children in the same group should be seated at the same table for meals, and a distance of 2 meters should be guaranteed between children sitting at different tables, and facilities should be ventilated and cleaned. Buffet meals cannot be arranged, where children prepare their own meals.

Children with fever and respiratory illnesses are not admitted to camps, non-formal education activities, or kindergartens. Workers should be able to measure body temperature only upon arrival at work.

The Ministry also recalls that sports competitions with a maximum of 1,000 spectators or participants are currently available in open spaces. The distance between the spectators must be at least 1 meter, no masks are required.

Inside, high-level sports competitions are possible with a maximum of 500 spectators or participants. The distance between the spectators is also at least 2 meters. The distance between spectators can be reduced by ensuring that spectators wear protective gear that covers their nose and mouth throughout the event: masks, respirators, etc.
