Two deputy ministers, the Chancellor of the Ministry and three advisers joined the team of Minister of Transport and Communications Marius Skuodis. According to the minister, the main emphasis in team building was on strong EU and state investment competencies.
The Ministry announces that Agn Vaiciukeviit, Doctor of Economics, has become the Vice Minister of Transport, responsible for transport innovation, digitization, sustainable mobility and exchange rate priorities and telecommunications development.
A. Vaiciukeviit has accumulated experience in international cooperation, studies and internships in science, innovation and policy-making institutions in the USA, Australia, Korea, Korea and Italy. Most recently, she worked as Vice Dean of Strategic Partnerships and Associate Professor in the Financial Engineering Department at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (now Vilnius Tech), Faculty of Business Administration.
Loreta Maskaliovien, Deputy Minister of Water Transport and Rail, European Union Policy, International Cooperation and National Strategic Projects, will take office on January 14. and implement various public strategies and long-term investment plans. Additionally, L. Maskaliovien served as Deputy Minister of Finance. He has a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and Management from Vilnius Gediminas Technical University.
Ramnas Dilba is appointed Chancellor of the Ministry of Transport and Communications and will also oversee the policy issues of state companies. R. Dilba has experience in EU investment, team management and project management, most recently as Chancellor of the Ministry of Energy. R. Dilba has a master’s degree in European Studies from the Institute of International Relations and Political Science at Vilnius University.

M. Skuodis’ team will also have three advisers. Darius Stravinskas, Master in Business Administration, has been appointed Counselor of the Minister of Transport and Communications, responsible for the field of telecommunications, 5G implementation in the country. He works both in the telecommunications sector of the private sector and in the public sector.
Aidas Rimkeviius has been appointed Advisor to the Minister of Transport and Communications on transport matters. A. Rimkeviius is a former diplomat, he will work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on economic security policy issues, most recently as Head of the Investment Policy Division of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation, working on the development of important infrastructure for the investors and initiatives to improve the investment environment.
Gabriel Vasiliauskait will work as a spokesperson for the Minister of Transport. G. Vasiliauskait has accumulated extensive experience in various media, led communication at Vilnius airport, was spokesperson for its Minister of Education and Science, Jurgita Petrauskiens, and worked in the Government Office on strategic project communication.
