An expert panel representing various industries and companies, which summarized the experts’ findings, awarded 51 gold and 10 silver medals, according to the press release. According to Vidmantas Janulevičius, President of LPK, the achievements of companies in Lithuania and in the world, even in such a difficult period, show that we will be able to overcome challenges using our innovation.

National Prize of Culture and Art for Architects

After more than a year of construction by architect Gintaras Balčytis, the station, which came into operation in March this year, is not the first time that it has dubbed itself as an example of innovation and ecology, in which vegetation matures of the territory has become an integral part of the building. The object has already been chosen among the 5 best works of Lithuanian architecture, and the architect won the National Culture and Art Prize for architecture open to the city and the people.

The total area of ​​the object exceeds 2,000 m2, the part of the bus station is 400 m2. Eleven providers of goods and services are located in the renovated bus station, from pharmacies, clothing and household items to meat products, garden supplies, coffee shops and more.

There are six departure points and two arrival points at the Vilkaviškis bus station. Bus departure times are displayed on modern information screens. Passengers wait for the buses in the spacious and warm waiting room, where they can charge their phone or computer on the spot.

The station operator is the passenger carrier UAB Kautra, which has been operating in Vilkaviškis for more than ten years.
