Border workers crossing Lithuania and others every day or every working day European Economic Area state border, business people, students and people who transfer them to an educational institution, students and trainees must have completed a COVID-19 test at least 7 days before returning to or arriving in Lithuania and have received a negative answer to the test if they are traveling by their own means of transportation.

Mandatory test for COVID-19 (PCR or nasopharyngeal antigen test). Response to serologic antibody tests is not recognized.

The COVID-19 test must be done at least 72 hours in advance. prior to arrival in Lithuania and a negative response has been received, which must be provided to the carrier prior to travel. The COVID-19 test will be mandatory for people over 16 years of age. Foreigners arriving in Lithuania by carriers for humanitarian reasons do not have to give a negative response to the investigation to the carrier, but must register for the investigation in Lithuania within 24 hours of arrival.

The exemption applies to people who travel in their own vehicle who must have no less than 72 hours in advance. a negative response to a survey conducted before arrival in Lithuania or within 24 hours. upon arrival you must register and conduct an investigation in Lithuania.

Mandatory 10 days of isolation:

· It is possible to walk in the open air, but not more than 1 km from the point of isolation, and protective equipment that covers the nose and mouth should be worn. It is forbidden to visit the places where people gather;

· Living with other people requires isolation in a separate room, but people who live together do not need to be isolated;

· Other insulation requirements must be met.

The isolation time can be shortened at the earliest on the seventh day of isolation by a COVID-19 test (PCR) with a negative result.

People whose isolation has been shortened or are subject to isolation exemptions will need to limit the number of people they communicate with for 14 days after arrival in Lithuania. It is recommended that workers only go to work and home if there is no possibility of working remotely. In communication with other people, the requirement to wear protective equipment that covers the nose and mouth is maintained: masks, respirators or other means, as well as the safety distance and other general COVID-19 prevention measures.

Location of insulation upon receipt NVSC permission, you can leave way to another place of isolation if the person has to change it for any reason.

The isolation site can be left without informing the NVSC:

· Organize the funeral of a loved one, transport the remains and / or attend the bodies / funerals of a loved one or care for terminally ill patients;

· COVID-19 testing of nasopharyngeal and pharyngeal samples on the way to hospital;

· Go to a medical institution to receive health care services;

· Transporting a person who is unable to care for himself to a medical institution for health care services;

· People who must go to the necessary place for the administration of legal matters;

· People who have to attend your wedding;

· High-performance athletes, high-performance sports professionals, high-performance sports instructors, sports medical personnel attending high-performance sports exercises, training camps, competitions and institutions or bodies related to their sports activities;

Employees of the listed categories whose purpose of travel is related to the performance of job duties (third-country nationals entering the Republic of Lithuania for the performance of job duties with a separate permit from the relevant Minister of Administration) may be left alone confinement and going to work or doing business;

· People who must go to state institutions, establishments and organizations by invitation or in the necessary place for the handling of legal matters;

Pre-register with the COVID-19 hotline in 1808 or register with the NVSC to go to a mobile point for COVID-19 testing of the nasopharynx and pharynx or to bring a person who is unable to care for themselves there ;

· People who go to your wedding.

People living or working abroad or when it is necessary to leave for medical care may leave Lithuania and leave the place of isolation before the end of the isolation period.
