The liberal party has approved the candidate for the Seimas

The Freedom Party, which held a remote congress on Saturday, approved candidates for Seimas, partial members and the electoral program.

For the first time, the political forces that will participate in the Seimas elections will be led by their spokesperson, Seimas member Aurin Armonait, the second activist from the Tomas Vytautas Raskeviius bloc, and drug and addiction policy expert Morgana Daniel.

Last June, A. Armonait, a member of the Seimas, and Remigijus imaius, the mayor of Vilnius, and their comrades founded the Liberal Freedom Party. According to a public poll, around 3% of the respondents voted for the Liberal Party.

A total of 81 candidates were nominated.

The focus of the Freedom Party program is on the vision of renewing education, human rights, the economy and innovation.

In the field of education, the party will strive for every 12th grader to learn to communicate in at least three Lithuanian languages, English, and information technology, says A. Armonait.

In the field of human rights, zero tolerance for all forms of violence, the full integration of people with disabilities, the justification of same-sex couples and the orientation of drug control and addiction policies towards prevention , attendance and beer exchange are identified as priorities.

The Free Party strives to ensure that Lithuania has a predictable and competitive tax system for at least 3%. for the scientific and experimental development of the gross domestic product, so that access to companies focuses not on punishment but on consulting.

The program also provides tools to attract and retain talent, support for small and medium businesses.
