The Kaziukas electronic fair “breaks” from those interested: what and for how much can you buy

However, the choice in the store is really impressive and probably would not even give way to the real Kaziukas fair, which is held every year on Vilnius Gediminas avenue.

“There are more than 200 different stores. More than 5.5 thousand were loaded. it works, ”said R. Gražys.

This year, due to the pandemic, the fair moved to a virtual space. However, as soon as it started working, it did not attract the attention of the bored residents of the country.

“It just came to our notice then. We will be on other servers in an hour and I hope it works well then,” said the interlocutor.

From tools to jewelry

Due to the stagnant “Delfi” system, it was only possible to superficially examine the offers on craftson.lt.

In general, you can choose from the following categories: Ethnic and traditional works; Jewelery and costume jewelery; Clothes and accessories; Interior decoration; Kitchen and dining utensils, etc.

Surprisingly, there were products that were out of stock before we started. For example, one of them is the jar “Birds in the rowan”.

The enameled clay pot 5 cm high and 20 cm in diameter manufactured by RR Keramikos costs 34 euros.

The website has rings for 23 euros, jewelry for 23 or 55 euros, pendants for 49 or 110 euros. The wooden vases are sold at 30 or even 220 euros, the boomerangs at 39 and 49 euros each.

Piercings are also available, with prices ranging from € 17 to € 38 and more. The baby suits are sold at 49 euros each.

Looking through the interior decoration, the eyes fell behind the “Boy on a rocking horse” (200 euros), a large handmade doll (290 euros). However, there are also cheaper offers: a decorated mug costs only 13 euros, a classic kettle 39 euros.

The prices of the bowls are from 12 to 22 euros, of the plates, from 24 to 55 euros. At that time, the wooden spoons are available for 6 and 20 euros each.

When trying to buy them, the shipping price offered by Delfi in Lithuania was 3 euros.

By the way, the rules of the store state that if the product is in the seller’s warehouse, its preparation and delivery to the courier usually takes up to 3 business days. However, if the product is manufactured at the buyer’s individual request, more detailed information is posted on the seller’s e-shop page or next to the product description.

As you know, the origins of the Kaziukas Fair date back to the 17th century and it is believed that the centennial annual event did not take place only during WWII.
