“Although the virus is still spreading rapidly, the number of people who need to be treated in hospital for COVID-19 and its severe forms is gradually decreasing,” says the doc. V. Gurskis. – By reducing the number of COVID-19 beds, we will increase the availability of other health services for patients with other diseases. Every day we monitor hospital bed occupancy and patient flows in the Kaunas region and make strategic decisions on a daily basis so that all patients in the region receive inpatient medical services. “
