At the meeting held on Wednesday, Deputy Minister of Health Živilė Simonaitytė said that the epidemiological situation is improving, but that it is not yet possible to waive the quarantine.
“The amendment refers to catering establishments, which operate outdoors without a passport and in closed spaces with a passport. We suggest not to limit their working hours,” he said.
Until now, their activities have been allowed for 7 to 24 hours.
The condition that the requested food and beverages must be consumed at the tables in the open spaces, and the activities carried out in the open spaces, remains in force.
As before, only those who have the passport of opportunity will be able to receive services internally: vaccinated, sick or with a negative result in the COVID-19 test.
Also on Monday, the government adjusted the requirements for obtaining a passport for opportunities. The government also recognized the European Green Certificate and established the conditions under which a person who comes to Lithuania is considered vaccinated: one vaccine will suffice for those who have been diagnosed with coronavirus.
