The Government Emergency Commission has been formed, in which: ministers, heads of services

The order confirming the composition was signed by Interior Minister Agnė Bilotaitė on Thursday.

Previously, the ministries were represented in this commission by their chancellors, but the government agreed to include the ministers in it.

“We are changing the composition because we want the emergency to be managed at the highest level, and the collegiate decisions that are made would allow us to handle the pandemic.” Now the situation is especially complicated, so all processes must take place as soon as possible, ”said Agnė Bilotaitė.

The Chairman of the WESC Commission is A. Bilotaitė, his deputy is the Chancellor of the Government Giedrė Balčytytė.

The commission is made up of: Minister of National Defense Arvydas Anušauskas, Minister of Economy and Innovation Aušrinė Armonaitė, Minister of Justice Evelina Dobrovolska, Minister of Health Arūnas Dulkys, Minister of the Environment Simonas Gentvilas, Minister of Culture Simonas Kairys, Minister of Energy Dainius Kreivys, Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabrielius Landsbergis Minister Kęstutis Navickas, Minister of Social Security and Labor Monika Navickienė, Minister of Finance Gintarė Skaistė, Minister of Transport and Communications Marius Skuodis, Minister of Education, Science and Sports Jurgita Šiugždinienė.

Saulius Greičius, Director of the Department of Fire Protection and Rescue, Darius Jauniškis, Director of the Department of State Security, Rustamas Liubajevas, Head of the State Border Guard Service, Renatas Požėla, Commissioner General of the Lithuanian Police, and Mindaugas Steponavičius, Chief of the Lithuanian Armed Forces.

On Wednesday, Health Minister A. Dulkys was appointed head of state emergency operations at the state level.
