Gabrielė Martirosian and Giedrius Masalskis, who led the competition last year, will be replaced this year by Ieva Stasiulevičiūtė and Vytautas Rumšas Jr. Well, the commission will no longer be led by Ieva Zasimauskaitė, but by Vaidas Baumila.

Ten contestants will try their luck on stage today, and the duo Beissoul and Einius will appear as guest stars.

A total of four “Try Again” shows will be shown: two qualifying shows, a semi-final and a final.

In the final show, the song will be performed and this year’s winners, The Roop, who will not have had the opportunity to appear on the big stage due to the current situation and the canceled Eurovision, will compete for the right to participate in the Festival of the Eurovision Song Contest. There has been debate about whether this year’s winners should be eligible for next year’s competition, but the European Broadcasting Union has indicated that the competition rules will not change, so songs selected this year cannot compete in Eurovision next year. However, judging by the work and responsible preparation of The Roop last year, the group immediately receives a place in the final of the selection.

The winner will be chosen jointly by the viewers and the commission, whose 5 members will change during each program. At the moment, the names of the members of the commission are not revealed by the organizers of the national team. How the commission voted will be announced at the end of the program, so that the commission’s evaluations do not affect the audience vote.
