“When we look at global temperatures, we can see fluctuations depending on the year or the months. But in the end, looking at this, we see a global warming trend. And it’s happening in many parts of the world, “Freja Vamborg, a senior scientist at the EU’s Copernicus Climate Change Office, told Reuters.

This is also evidenced by ongoing processes in the world, which are closely related to climate change, extreme events that hit the world extremely hard last July. Scientists unanimously agree that global warming is causing ever greater, more dangerous, longer lasting and increasingly damaging heat waves and inevitable cataclysms. “Record heat has hit both the United States and Canada, where hundreds of people have died in cataclysms and fires caused by heat waves since last June. In Germany, Belgium and China, extreme floods have claimed the lives of hundreds of people.

In Australia, heat records have also improved, reaching the daily maximum temperature last month. Temperatures are higher than normal in North Africa almost everywhere, ”Copernicus said.

And only in a few regions of the world were air temperatures slightly lower than usual, in Germany and Russia.

Ralph Toumis, one of the directors of the Grantham Institute for Climate Change at the Royal College of London, said these climate cataclysms were not a surprise, but simply a long-term consequence of rising temperatures.
