This year, the organizers called for the celebration of friendships because, as Dovilė Butkienė, the creator and organizer of the event in Lithuania, warns, true happiness and true joy lies in close relationships and their nurturing:

Due to the pandemic situation, everyone who wanted to participate in Le Dîner en Blanc had to present a passport of opportunity at the event.
The white picnic, which stretches from Paris to the whole world, is also special for fostering creativity, harmony of imagination and elegance.
“During the first events, we still had a lot of questions about what to wear, what to wear or what kind of belt. Since this year’s Le Dîner en Blanc was celebrated for the eighth time, Vilnius residents and visitors to the city alike are already well aware of the white dress code and are boldly improvising.
We are always happy to see originally dressed guests who have already realized that a white picnic is an opportunity to both dress up and express themselves gracefully. In this way, each festival participant becomes the creator of the special atmosphere of “Le Dîner en Blanc”, – festival organizer Valda Lukošiūtė spoke about the white dress code which raises more questions for the participants.
As always, performances by popular artists took place during the celebration. Le Dîner en Blanc organizers and partners guided participants through a variety of unexpected sensations of tastes, sounds and emotions, creating unforgettable memories and a guaranteed escape from everyday life.
