M. Zemeckas (36), famous for his categorical passport possibilities, also told Delfi that a meeting of the Shoulder for Freedom association, which he had established, is scheduled for September 18 at Šiauliai Arena.

“To date, I have 189 registered members (Delfi members),” said the interlocutor.

Gets a lot of negativity

M. Zemeckas is the owner of the individual company Adiada. It owns the Gustukas pizzeria, the company also has a kebab in Šiauliai and sells food supplements.

“We are a company, but I can only be responsible for the Gustukas pizzeria,” explained M. Zemeckas.

The businessman said that he would not change his position in the passport of opportunities.

“To this day, we believe that we will work, but if we do not go according to plan, we will simply provide take out food. But we will not work with the passport of opportunity. As was the case during previous quarantines, there is courier assistance. In the Lastly, the orders were enough, only now we will have a slightly different situation, because some will be able to accept and then no one will be able to.

We will be closed and someone will be able to let in. In our country, the distribution in society is endless, and I think it will continue to be perpetrated. But we don’t want that. Šiauliai is a small town. We know many clients personally, it is to leave something behind the door … We do not want that.

The worst part is that when the government issues ordinances, then the first psychological wave we meet personally. We have to explain to the client, apologize, even if these are not our decisions.

Regardless, it shouldn’t just be a passport to opportunity. We would agree to keep all the other tables, to be in masks. I think our clients would agree too. But there are no options to look for. How many times have we tried, nobody listens to us. We are on the direct front line, we have many negative things, “he explained.

Will no longer work with Bolt

Some time ago, information appeared on the social network page of the pizzeria Gustukas that Bolt Food was ending its cooperation with them.

A little later, a copy of the letter was added, which reads: “In order to protect the health of couriers and customers, we decided to stop cooperating with Gustukas Pizzeria. In addition, there were many dissatisfied customers because the restaurant did not meet the safety requirements. “It was signed by Karolis from Bolt Food Lietuva.

Zemeck said he received a call from Bolt executives afterward, explaining that a misunderstanding had occurred.

“We only received one call from the general manager, who described it as a huge misunderstanding on their part. They immediately wanted to resume cooperation, but we asked ourselves to know what circumstances had happened.

As far as we know, no partner, Bolt, has been expelled while in Lithuania. I think it is not a coincidence that we meet. Which shows your position. If it were otherwise, it would also have been a public letter, it would be an argument. We called Wolt and said that no partner had left. It is practically impossible to pull. You can have comments, but you always discuss, communicate, improve, ”he said.

Mr. Zemeck explained that he had received a copy of the letter from one of his clients.

“She wrote to your information, asked why they could not order and we received that response. We wanted to show that companies that large themselves are completely socially irresponsible. They say that we are unsafe, even though we have no violations to this day. We only deal with Wolt now, he said.

For his part, Ruslan Savičius, Bolt Food’s head of food delivery development in the Baltic countries, told Delfi that they are a business organization and are guided by bilaterally agreed commitments and not personal sympathies or policies.

“When evaluating the quality of restaurants, we monitor criteria such as partner activity, order production time, communication with food delivery couriers is very important to us. This is not an exceptional case, when after evaluating the quality of the services provided by a certain partner, Bolt Food decided to stop working with the restaurant.

We respond to inquiries from Bolt Food customers, both ourselves and employees of external customer service companies. Karolis, the author of an email currently being widely discussed in public, works for one of these companies. Your response to a client’s request is not an official company position. We are currently actively communicating with the owner of the restaurant, ”he said.

The association starts its activities

M. Zemeckas said that so far “the Gustukas pizzeria” has received an inspection from the State Food and Veterinary Service, during which no violations were found.

“We work in a very responsible way, we understand that the fines are huge. We have many employees for whom we also take responsibility. We cannot act in an extreme way,” he said.

The interlocutor said he supported the rally organized by the Lithuanian Family Movement in Vilnius on Friday.

“I think we have the constitutional right to come and say. We are not expecting violence or anything else there, I think we would like to be finally heard. We have a lot of arguments, but we just don’t have where to put them.

We have many suggestions that we think would be appropriate, but no one listens to us. Still, we are a business where we add value, we employ a lot of people, we pay a lot of taxes. Consequently, I do not see it as a crime to express political will. To this day, I think we are moving away from the rule of law, “he said.

M. Zemeckas together with two other people from Šiauliai Gerdas Zemeckas and Giedrius Liubavičius have created the association “Shoulder for Freedom”. The interlocutor said that he is starting an active career.

“There is a lot of legal work to do with the association, it is not easy to do, but everything is confirmed. We are in touch and next Saturday we will have the first meeting of all the new members in Šiauliai Arena. There we will discuss which path we are going to take, what we will do, our lawyers will meet, ”he said.

Regarding the number of members of the association, M. Zemeckas emphasized “not quantity, but quality”.

“We will not do business twice. If people understand, they will be told what and how we will do it, but to this day I have logged 189. I don’t know if they will all come or not change their mind. I don’t even know many of them.

However, the interest is high. People want to know that they are confused, small businesses also do not have the opportunity to ask lawyers. In the past, entrepreneurs were the ones who coordinated their employees, captured the environment, but lately, somehow, everyone is confused, looking at each other. Every day I receive I don’t know how many calls, what and how to do. I could already be a lawyer if I had an education for that, ”he said.

According to the Registry of Legal Entities, Adiada received 1,964 million LTL in 2020. Income from sales, he earned 76 thousand. net profit of.
