The Department and the Ministry of Health have announced that as of November 25, COVID-19 statistics will be published daily on the Official Statistics Portal at 9.30 a.m. tomorrow, simultaneously for all users (OSP).

At the same time, the information will be updated on a special website koronastop.lrv.lt and sent to decision-makers and the media.

“The technological solutions implemented allow the automated sending of reasonable information before and in detail. A total of 4 markers will be published with detailed data, including open data, and a report with updated key data, ”says the department.

The report will include the number of new cases confirmed the day before for specific people and the number of deaths and deaths from COVID-19 but death from other causes, the total number of confirmed cases and deaths, as well as the number of cases and how many people they got better. Information on hospital beds for COVID-19 patients will also be released.

The Statistics Department began releasing information related to COVID-19 a couple of weeks ago. In case of inconsistencies between the department’s data and the National Center for Public Health (NVSC), the Health Expert Council convened by President Gitanas Nausėda asked the Government to establish a single source of data.
