The guests gathered in the LRT patio watched the presentation of the first current affairs program “Important Hour” on the screens. The show’s host, Deividas Jursevičius, joined the broadcast and spoke with LRT CEO Monika Garbačiauskaitė-Budrienė directly from the studio about the new season.

Experienced journalists Rasa Tapinienė and Deividas Jursevičius will emphasize the most important next to the questions “who?” And when?” – “because?”.
We want Lithuanians of all ages and interests to find meaningful, educational and stimulating content on LRT channels. We are a media group that has a positive rating of around 80 percent. society – we must be responsible. It’s fun to discover new ideas every year – we all work to discover untold pathways to relevant and meaningful content. The modern viewer is in a hurry, therefore he wants the time spent in front of the television to stop him, perhaps make him think, think or even inspire him, ”M. In the new LRT television season, another new current affairs program “Lietuva kalba” will be waiting for the audience, which will also be hosted by Rasa Tapinienė. The public will continue to watch current affairs and news programs: “Good morning Lithuania”, “Hello Lithuania”, “Panorama”, “Forum”, review of the week’s events “Week”.
On Saturdays, the Maestro music project, created in BBC format, will be invited to the screens, where eight brilliant stage personalities meet the music. This time they will be in the center of music and on the stage of the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theater: they will take the conductor’s wand and stand in front of a royal orchestra.
Educational shows, meaningful animations and cozy movies, which are always fun to watch with the family, and especially on Sundays, which is why in the new season LRT announces “Children’s Sunday”. Sunday’s children’s program will launch with a new educational show for children with dreams, wishes and ideals, “Children of Dreams.”
In the new season: favorites of the most important film festivals in the world, good European cinema, films by Lithuanian directors, retrospectives of the most famous names. Also on Mondays at 9:30 p.m. Through LRT PLUS, we invite viewers to observe human originality, sensitivity and temporality in the world documentary cycle “Human Scale”: stories from Nepal, Iran, Canada, Cuba, Australia, USA, Iceland, the Netherlands, Romania, Germany, the United Kingdom, Slovenia and other parts of the world.
