Agnė Vaiciukevičiūtė, who has a doctorate in economics, is appointed Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications. He will be responsible for transport innovation, digitization, sustainable mobility and green course priorities, and telecommunications development. A. Vaiciukevičiūtė has accumulated extensive experience in international cooperation, studied and interned at science, innovation and policy-making institutions in the United States, Australia, South Korea, the Czech Republic and Italy. A. Vaiciukevičiūtė recently worked at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (now Vilnius Tech), Faculty of Business Administration, as Vice Dean of Strategic Partnership and Associate Professor of the Department of Financial Engineering.

Loreta Maskaliovienė on January 14. He will also hold the position of Vice Minister of Transportation. It will feed maritime and rail transport, the policy of the European Union, international cooperation and strategic state projects. The future Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications has accumulated more than 15 years of experience in the field of state and EU investments, evaluating and implementing various state strategies and long-term investment plans. Before that, L. Maskaliovienė was Deputy Minister of Finance. He has a master’s degree in Urban Planning and Management from the Vilnius Gediminas Technical University.

Ramūnas Dilba is appointed Chancellor of the Ministry of Transport and Communications. It will also address policy issues for state-owned companies. Mr. Dilba has extensive experience in EU investment, team management and project management, most recently as Chancellor of the Ministry of Energy. She has a Master’s degree in European Studies from the Institute of International Relations and Political Science at Vilnius University.

“In shaping my political team, first of all, I thanked the widest possible coverage of the knowledge and experience of these people, so that it complemented the skills of the Ministry of Transport and Communications staff. Communication in the country covers a wide range of areas, the system is very diverse, there are many different companies and institutions. Therefore, the independence of the team, the stock of knowledge necessary for a future-oriented change and the enthusiasm to organize and unite this area of ​​strategic importance for the country to make it as acceptable, innovative and comfortable as possible are crucial. In evaluating the emerging team, I am particularly pleased that we have managed to gather strong competencies on EU and public investment issues, ”the minister summarizes the composition of the team.

M. Skuodis’ team will also include three consultants.

Darius Stravinskas, M.Sc. He has worked both in the private telecommunications sector and in the public sector. D. Stravinskas obtained a Master of Business Administration from ISM University of Management and Economics, studied mobile communication technologies in Ireland.

Aidas Rimkevičius has been appointed Advisor to the Minister of Transport and Communications on transport matters. A. Rimkevičius is a former diplomat who has worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on economic security policy, most recently as Head of the Investment Policy Division of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation, working on the development of important infrastructure for investors and initiatives to improve the investment environment. Advisor to the Minister of Transportation and Communications, he completed two master’s programs at Mykolas Romeris University: Political Science and Business Administration, and completed internships in the United States and Japan.

Gabrielė Vasiliauskaitė will serve as spokesperson for the Minister of Transport and Communications. G. Vasiliauskaitė has accumulated extensive work experience in various media, managed communication at Vilnius airport, served as spokesperson for Minister of Education and Science J. Petrauskienė and worked on communication of strategic projects at the Government Office. He graduated from Vilnius University with a degree in journalism and studied in Sweden.
