A. Budrytė will be replaced by Agila Barzdienė as Chancellor, Raminta Stanaitytė-Česnulienė, former spokesperson for Finance Minister Vilius Šapoka, will lead the Presidency communication. According to the Presidency, A. Budrytė “intends to seek new professional challenges”, he will resign on March 12.

Previously, she was head of International Fintech, previously headed Swedbank’s Personal Banking Department and worked at other banks, and is a former deputy director of the news portal 15min.lt.

A. Budrytė will be replaced in this position by Agila Barzdienė. According to the Presidency, she was one of the promoters of the “Create for Lithuania” program and has led it since 2014.

Previously, a contest was held for the position of Chancellor of the Presidency, and since January 2019, when the law changed, it is a position of political confidence of the President.

A. Bubnelis will finish his job as President in mid-March. According to the presidency, he decided to return to the private sector.

Ieva Elenbergienė, who has decided to continue her career in another professional field, is also leaving the communication group. Councilor Liutauras Galinis decided to resign from the Office of the President for personal reasons.

Before joining the presidency, A. Bubnelis was head of corporate affairs and public relations at Bitė Lietuva for two years, having previously worked for the water supply company Vilniaus vandenys, the telecommunications company Teo, public relations companies and the BNS news agency.

On March 15, R. Stanaitytė-Česnulienė, the new Senior Advisor to the President, will begin work. Before that, she worked as an advisor to the Minister of Finance, as a former public relations consultant, handled communications for Rimi Lietuva, worked as a journalist and presenter for the television companies LRT, LNK, TV3 and Lietuvos ryto TV.

Elena Mickevičienė joined the team of the Economic and Social Policy Group on Thursday, replacing Vaidas Česnulevičiūtė, who became the Deputy Minister of Finance in December. Until now, E. Mickevičienė worked at Invest in Lithuania agency, where she was head of the Legal and Investment Environment Improvement Team, before that she worked as a legal consultant at the business consulting and auditing firm PricewaterhouseCoopers Lietuva.

Simona Vilkelytė, who recently worked as an assistant judge at the Lithuanian Supreme Court, and a little earlier as Deputy Director of the State Service for the Protection and Adoption of Children’s Rights of the Ministry of Social Security and Labor, will start working in the Group Legal of the Presidency on March 8.

Last June, Chief Counselors Jonas Vytautas Žukas, Sonata Šulcė and Aistis Zabarauskas and Counselors Ieva Saudargaitė and Vida Petrylaitė, who worked in the Legal Group, left the Presidency.
