According to the Police Department, the bodies of women born in 1949 and 1974 were found in an apartment on Kaunas Gričiupio Street on March 16 at around 7:30 p.m.
Both bodies had already begun to decompose.
A pre-trial investigation was launched to determine the cause of death.
As reported by the Kaunas Fire and Rescue Board on this incident, on March 16 a message was received that the necessary help to reach the department, inside the person may have health problems.
After breaking the plastic window of the apartment, doctors and police entered the interior. Inside, the bodies of two women were found.
There was a smell of gas in the stairwell, so a gas emergency service was called, which turned on the gas in the common kitchen upon arrival.
Another body was also found in an apartment on Partizanų Street.
According to the Kaunas Fire and Rescue Board, on March 16 at 8:24 pm a message was received that help was needed to get to the apartment on Partizanų Street, the person inside may have a health problem.
Doctors and policemen were allowed to enter the balcony. Inside the man’s body was found.
