At the same time, the Circle K milesPLUS racing team has continued to dominate Porsche cars: For the sixth year in a row, other cars have failed to win the Aurum 1006km race. The teams that drove this car won a total of 14 races.
The Circle K milesPLUS Racing Team showed their dominance in the playoffs on Friday, when they outplayed their closest rivals by more than a second and flirted with the record.
The team also showed great form from the opening laps of Aurum’s 1006km race, leaving no opportunity for the competitors.
Circle K milesPLUS racing team also captured the fastest lap of the race. These expired in 1 minute. 9.553 sec. The second fastest lap was “Good gift – RD Signs”, but it took another second (1 min. 10.558 sec.).
This year, 28 teams had to start the race, but Dynami: t Energy by Baltic Petroleum, which came with Porsche, had to leave before qualifying for the engine failure.

There were no failures in the race, but only two teams did not finish them: the DHL Racing Team, which faced an engine failure that had led it to its class up to that point, and GSR motorsport.
However, major accidents were avoided, the most serious of which was Vytautas Gazuotas with Porsche when they hit the barriers. The team had to replace the leaking radiator and stick the bumper. From the second position, it fell to the fourth and from this it did not rise.
A somewhat unusual incident was recorded when a drone fell on the tarmac, temporarily pausing the race.

4:35 p.m. 4 h 29.49 min. – The leader of Aurum’s 1006km race in Palanga, Circle K milesPLUS Racing Team, and his athlete Oskars Brazaitis took so long to drive 186 laps and be the first to cross half the race.
The total distance of 1006 km of the race consists of 373 laps, one of which is 2682 meters long. Therefore, it is the 186 laps, albeit very precisely, 186.5, that mark the middle of the race.
4:15 p.m. The DHL Racing team with Cupra has still not resolved the technical problems and became the fourth team not to finish the race. 23 teams remain on the track.
4 p.m. There was a yellow flag on the track again for a while. The Circle K milesPLUS Racing Team continues to crush its rivals, outperforming its closest racers by three wheels.
3:45 p.m. Another car stopped on the track, driven by DHL Racing Team, driving a Cupra. The team had completed 141 laps, hopes to clear the fault and continue the race.
3 p.m. The third hour of the race is complete, and the Circle K milesPLUS racing team is further increasing its lead, outperforming its competitors by four laps. There is still a yellow flag on the track.

1:51 p.m. So far, only one team has abandoned the race due to technical obstacles. 26 teams remain on the track, leading the Circle K milesPLUS Racing Team, beating their rivals by nearly two laps. In total, its leaders have already exceeded 84.
