The staff test was conducted as part of an epidemiological investigation into possible out-of-work contact with another sick person outside the institution, since the nurse participated in a weekend trip that later turned out to be COVID-19, ”the press release said.

As a result, the institution’s activities are partially limited.

“We are temporarily partially restricting the activities of the institution. All staff and patients are currently being evaluated. There are 15 patients at the facility. The situation is under control and the infection control specialists at the Kaunas Clinical Hospital take care of the safety of the patients ”, write the representatives.
