We have been waiting for the Tesla semi electric truck for many years. And while we heard about the progress of this show, the company once again postponed the appearance of Tesla Semi.

The Tesla semi electric truck was first introduced in 2017 and this time it was planned to go on the market in 2019.
Tesla later said it planned to launch a “limited production of Tesla semi-trailers” in 2020. Still, the plans are postponed again.
Along with the good financial results for the first quarter of this year, Tesla also updated the information on Tesla Semi.
Tesla has confirmed that all apps are moving in the right direction and on schedule, with the exception of Tesla Semi. Its appearance will be postponed until 2021 – 2 years later than planned:
“We expect both the production of Model Y and Model 3 electric vehicles at the Fremont and Shanghai plants to increase gradually during the second quarter.
We continue to strengthen the production capacity of the Shanghai plant and intensively build the Gigafactory plant in Berlin, so we expect to supply a large number of Model Y electric vehicles from these two plants starting in 2021.
Finally, we are moving the first Tesla semi-electric truck deliveries to customers by 2021. ”
Before presenting Tesla results for the first quarter, Elonas Muskas promised that later this year the company would provide more information on the Tesla Semi and no less intriguing Roadster electric car.
The last time we heard about the Tesla Semi was when its test results were released in poor road conditions and in the cold season.
The company said the Tesla Semi worked well and that it was planning to produce electric trucks at its Gigafacotry plant in Nevada, USA. USA For now, the plans are pending.
Interest in Tesla semi-electric trucks is enormous and Tesla claims to have received thousands of advance bookings for which customers have paid from $ 5,000 to $ 20,000 (up to € 18,000) in advance.
The shorter Tesla Semi will cost from $ 150,000 (€ 136,000) and the long distance version from $ 180,000 (€ 164,000).
Customers love the fact that the Tesla Semi can travel up to 965 km on a single charge. and the cost per mile (1.6 km) will be only $ 1.26 (€ 1.15).
Tesla is also reported to be working with CharIN to develop its own charging standard for more than 1 MW specifically for electric trucks.
