Tele2 sells its business in Germany

Mobile operator Tele2 has agreed to sell its business in Germany to the local executive team of Tele2 Germany. The value of the transaction amounts to LTL 22.8 million. EUR.

I hope that we have successfully prepared the company for sale and created the necessary added value for shareholders, says Petras Masiulis, Tele2 Managing Director for the Baltics and Germany.

P. Masiulis will direct Tele2 in Lithuania and the Baltic countries.

The transaction is expected to close in 2020. December After a thorough analysis of the potential buyer’s offer, the company decided that selling Tele2 Germany to the local management team would be the most valuable alternative for the business.

Selling a business in Germany is part of Mons’ long-term strategy to focus on its core markets and customer offerings.
