The Taliban are now 100% in control. there is no fight at the moment. Most of the parents fled Kabul, AFP news agents said legislator Saeed Qaribullah Sadat about the situation in Logar province.

NATO announced that it would hold an emergency meeting on Friday on the deteriorating security situation in Afghanistan.

After its end, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the Alliance would not build its civilian diplomatic mission in Afghanistan and would try to support the government in Kabul and its credible security forces to resist the Taliban attack.

Our goal remains to support the Afghan government and security forces as much as possible. The safety of our employees is paramount. NATO will continue to support our diplomatic presence in Kabul and adapt as necessary, Stoltenberg said in a statement issued after the meeting.

Yesterday, the countries announced emergency evacuation operations to the Taliban after they took control of Kandahar, Afghanistan’s second-largest city.

According to Stoltenberg, NATO allies are deeply concerned about the high level of violence that the Taliban attack has sparked, including attacks on civilians, targeted riots and reports of other serious human rights abuses.

The Taliban must understand that the international community will not get involved if they take force. We remain committed to supporting a political solution to the conflict, the NATO leader said in a statement.

The United States and the United Kingdom are sending troops to organize the evacuation.

The United States and the United Kingdom will report on Friday of thousands of troops in Afghanistan to evacuate embassy staff and other citizens, the Taliban one after another in many important regional centers and an attack on the capital, Kabul.

The Afghan government now controls only Kabul and a few other territories.

Kandahar is completely Ukrainian. Mudahedas (fighters) arrived at Kankini Square, a Taliban spoke on Twitter, referring to an important object in the city.

Information released by the Taliban has confirmed to a resident, according to AFP news agents, that government forces appear to be withdrawing en masse from a single military base in the southern city.

A few hours later, the Taliban will also report to Lakar Ga, the neighboring capital of Helmand province.

The government has de facto lost control of much of the country after a few days of victory for the Taliban in the country’s urban centers.

The attack was launched in May, when the United States and its allies announced plans to deploy their last forces in Afghanistan. The president of the United States, Joe Biden, will decide to end the war two decades before 9/11, the anniversary of the terrorist attack caused by the conflict in the United States.

Unexpected development

Biden said he did not regret his decision, but the Taliban victory in the cities, with the Danes not facing strong resistance from government forces, the speed was unexpected and forced a re-evaluation of the situation.

Washington and London will announce Thursday night the urgent evacuation of their embassy staff and other citizens to the capital.

The AP news agency also cited a source only from the Canadian government, who said the country would use a special force to organize an evacuation of the embassy in Kabul. However, the agent’s agent does not specify how many wars will be fought.

We continue to exchange our civilian presence in Kabul in response to the evolving security situation, US State Department spokesman Ned State Price told reporters, but said the country’s embassy was functioning.

This is not negligence. This is not an evacuation. This is not a universal retreat, he assured.

The Pentagon has indicated that 3,000 US troops will be deployed to Kabul over the next 12 days. The Defense Department stressed that these forces would not be used to attack the Taliban.

British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace says London will pass 600 soldiers to evacuate British citizens and former Afghan workers.

According to N. Price, the United States will begin to organize daily flights to evacuate Afghan interpreters and others who have helped the United States and now fear for their lives.

EU: Taliban await international isolation

The European Union (EU) warned the Taliban on Thursday that it would face international isolation if it seized power in Afghanistan, fighting militants in many major regional centers and attacking the capital, Kabul.

If power is seized and the Islamic Emirate is rebuilt, the Taliban will face non-confrontation, isolation, lack of international support and the prospect of further conflict and long-term instability in Afghanistan, says the foreign policy chief of the UE, Josep Borrell.

The EU seeks to expand the partnership and continue to support Afghanistan. However, support will continue on the condition that a peaceful and inclusive solution is found and that the fundamental rights of all Afghans, including women, youth and minorities, are respected, as stated in the statement issued.

According to Borrell, it is extremely important to preserve the necessary achievements of women and girls during the last two decades, even in accessible places.

The statement called on the Taliban to immediately end the violence and resume peace talks with the Kabul government.

The EU condemns the increasing violations of international humanitarian law and human rights, especially in areas and cities controlled by the Taliban, Borrell said.

According to him, the 27-nation bloc also calls on the Kabul authorities to resolve political differences, increase stakeholder representation and maintain contact with the Taliban on the basis of a united front.
