Therefore, one of the main criteria in the distance education guidelines is that the school should have a unified distance learning environment, ”said the deputy minister.
Schools also applied the number of contact hours differently, sometimes simply by moving the regular schedule to digital space. The excessive workload annoyed both students and teachers.
“Obviously, such a mechanical transfer of the schedule to a remote space has had a rather negative effect on the well-being of children and teachers. It is fatigue, loss of attention, sometimes vision problems. Now the curricula anticipate and define the proportions of synchronous work, the recommended proportions of face-to-face and non-face-to-face working hours, ”said J. Urbanovič.
Finally, as the deputy minister said, during the quarantine, only a small number of educational institutions decided to change the annual curriculum at least slightly deviate from the course.

Schools must be prepared

Before the new school year, an additional 1,850 laptops are purchased and distributed to teachers, and distance learning content is being prepared.
