Taking into account the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in Panevėžys and the current resolution of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, the city of Panevėžys municipality has taken the decision to present the requirement to wear protective nose gear and the mouth in the municipality. From tomorrow until July 30, only visitors who wear protective equipment will be attended.
“The municipality deals with the health of residents and employees and applies preventive measures for COVID-19 disease, which are not limited to the mandatory protection of the nose and mouth: disinfectants are available in places that are clearly visible at the entrances from the municipality, handles, etc. However, citizens are also asked to protect themselves and others and, without expecting anything, to start wearing protective face masks again, use remote services as much as possible, so As long as they don’t visit public places if they feel signs of upper respiratory infection, keep a safe distance, postpone unnecessary travel and vacations.
