As indicators deteriorate, Spain could be on a “red” list, and travelers are encouraged to carry out a risk assessment, the Ministry of Health (SAM) said.

With the rapid increase in the number of people infected with coronavirus in Spain, SAM urges travelers to assess the risk of having to isolate themselves upon returning from that country. If the trend does not change, Spain will be included in the list of countries of which 14 days of isolation are mandatory as of this Friday.

Currently, the list of countries most affected by coronavirus infection (COVID-19 disease) includes countries with more than 25 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days.

According to the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control, the morbidity rate in Spain has increased considerably in the last days until July 22. reached 29.1.

The list of the most affected countries is updated every Friday. Currently, the list includes 64 countries, including Belarus, Bulgaria, Israel, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Montenegro, Croatia, Seychelles, Sweden and others. The complete list is available on the SAM website.
