At the end of the educational process in schools, the payment of sickness benefits to parents who cared for primary children at home during quarantine was completed. Health benefits for non-sick children are no longer paid to parents of kindergarten children.
There are currently around 700 residents with certificates of incapacity to work due to an emergency. In April, that number exceeded 60,000 and reached 13,000 at the end of the quarantine.
However, in July, sickness benefits will reach not only those currently unable to work, but also those who have been reexamined for sickness benefit decisions after the amendments to the law took effect.
Compared to June 2019, the number of registered unemployed receiving unemployment benefits increased by 45 percent, there were 25,000 of them.
Sickness benefits during the entire period of disability during quarantine could be retroactively granted to parents and guardians whose children attended so-called unregistered kindergartens or were supervised by babysitters before the quarantine was announced, as well as to grandparents whose grandchildren were unable to attend kindergarten or school due to quarantine. .
Sodra pays sickness benefits periodically: within 17 business days after the end of the period of incapacity for work and upon receipt of all documents and data necessary for sickness benefit or, if the certificate of incapacity for work has been issued. The number of layoffs is decreasing, but the number of unemployed remains high.

Beneficiaries of old-age and disability pensions who have acquired seniority and employment units during the previous year will receive renewed pensions, generally increased.
Most beneficiaries achieved renewed pensions along with the bonus for the first five months of this year in June. Other social security benefits will reach the population as usual this month. Maternity benefits will complete beneficiary accounts within 17 business days of receipt of the application with all necessary documents and data, and paternity benefits within 5 business days of the end of parental leave.
Those raising children under the age of two will receive benefits from July 15, and those who do not receive all or part of the maintenance awarded from July 24 to 31.
Long-term employment benefits will be credited to beneficiary accounts within 10 business days from the decision date.
