On September 21, S. Skvernelis announced that as of October 1. Mass events such as city or harvest festivals will no longer be allowed. However, the decision to limit the facts was not left to the Government but to the municipalities.

“As of October 1, we intend to stop organizing massive gatherings such as cities or harvest festivals, where it is extremely difficult to guarantee and monitor compliance with safety requirements. Formally, they appear to be observed, but in reality, not at all, “wrote S. Skvernelis on Facebook.

However, this Wednesday, the prime minister assured that the events would not be prohibited, but simply advised to abstain from them.

“Where did you come up with the idea of restricting mass events? This is a form of recommendation where the municipalities themselves decide. Today there will be no mandatory instructions for Masses and other events. This is a recommendation. I think that many municipalities listen and understand this, “S. Skvernelis told reporters.
