The Lithuanian National Christian Democratic Union, the Freedom Party and the Liberal Movement met for the first time in the Seimas on Tuesday to negotiate the formation of a coalition and priority works. The party promises to finally agree on a coalition and sign a coalition agreement in the near future.

According to her, the key question for the budget is how to protect the Lithuanian economy from the shock caused by very inconsistent financial planning.
“In the coming years, this government has planned several billions of so-called DNA expenditures, which are unconditional, but in the same budget they are financed with imputed income, income that we still do not have,” said the deputy from Seimas.
She emphasizes that the new state budget must include a safeguard to cover the damage caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Last week, all parties refined and exchanged their negotiating positions on what priority work they would like to implement.
As you know, the ruling coalition decided to form the three parties that won the most seats in the Seimas: the TS-LKD, the Liberal Movement and the Freedom Party. Together, these parties will have 74 seats in the Seimas.
