Roquebrune, who had been married to Connery for 45 years, said the actor “had not expressed himself” in the months leading up to his death.
“It just came to our attention then. At least he died sleeping and passed by very quietly,” the woman said.
The painter M.Roquebrune married S.Connery in 1975. The Post Office woman said that the husband was an “exemplary man” and that living without him would not be easy for her.
