On May 22, S. Skvernelis shared bicycle route reports from a mobile phone on Facebook. In one case, 23.4 km were covered and in another, 25.1 km. Nine of these kilometers were driven by a gravel road, the Prime Minister added.
There he wrote: “I am still looking forward to getting back on the basketball court as soon as A.Veryga allows the lovers to play as well.”
The opportunity to play basketball on an amateur basis arose on June 1, when quarantine conditions were once again relaxed and cultural, entertainment, sporting, or other indoor events were allowed, with certain restrictions. The Government resolution stipulating this was jointly signed by Prime Minister S. Skvernelis and Minister of Health Aurelijus Veryga.
