SAM warns about Poland: there are only some exceptions

[ad_1]

Under the current procedure, isolation is not compulsory for citizens of the Republic of Lithuania who have returned to or arrived from the Republic of Poland when the following three cases have occurred: matters related to work, studies or agricultural activities. This exception is also provided for citizens of the Republic of Poland who came to Lithuania from Poland and are legally residing in Poland.

SAM advises that the obligation to isolate citizens of the Republic of Lithuania does not apply only if people have documents that prove it, for example, an employment contract with a Polish company, a study contract or a lease / agricultural loan or contracts with buyers of agricultural products, etc. Meanwhile, Polish citizens must also have documents proving a person’s employment, studies or agricultural activities in Lithuania.

It should be noted that only Poland is also covered by the transit exemption, which states that isolation is not mandatory for citizens of the Republic of Lithuania who legally reside in Lithuania and return through Poland in transit.

SAM reminds that international commercial shipments are not suspended. Order No. of the Minister of Health V-352 establishes that for the crew and crew members who work in Lithuanian companies engaged in international commercial transport or who perform it in all types of vehicles, isolation is mandatory from the day of arrival to the Republic of Lithuania until departure from its territory, but not more than 14 days.

The isolation procedure together with the established exceptions is specified in the Order of the Minister of Health no. V-352, which can be found here.
