Last week, 55 municipalities submitted to the State Emergency Operations Center on the control of compliance with the restrictions applied during the emergency.
In the first week of September, Lithuanian municipalities actively inspected public transport participants. A total of 1,885 inspections were carried out and 355 violations were detected, double the number one week earlier.
The leisure and entertainment sector was also inspected. Of the 37 entities inspected, 6 were found to be in default. After inspecting 358 markets and outdoor outlets, one did not comply with current restrictions.
54 municipalities verified people’s compliance with isolation. A total of 1,114 foreign arrivals were inspected and four violations were identified for breach of isolation rules.
The Police Department also controlled the applicable restrictions. No mask use violations were detected during the week. The police also inspected people in self-isolation: a total of 1,396 inspections were carried out and seven violations were identified. Minutes of administrative offenses were drawn up for offenders.
Specialists from the State Food and Veterinary Service, during the control of the respective establishments, found four infractions in 114 public catering establishments, and in food trade establishments (59 inspected subjects), veterinary practice activities (1 inspected entity) and veterinary facilities (10 subjects inspected) No infractions were recorded at the sites.
Last week, the National Center for Public Health inspected 108 operators. Three of them operated outside of emergency restrictions. The inspections did not reveal violations of two beauty establishments, two sports clubs, eight accommodation establishments, two non-formal educational establishments for children, a leisure and / or entertainment area and a cinema. The activities in these institutions were carried out only with a passport of opportunity.
92 inspections in establishments serving both passport holders and non-passport holders revealed three irregularities related to periodic testing of staff. One of them is in an institution that provides social services, the other two are in health institutions. In all cases, an administrative process was initiated for misconduct.
Like every week, NVSC specialists checked the mandatory periodic tests. A total of 74 economic entities were inspected: 25 personal health institutions, 28 formal and non-formal education institutions, 13 social service institutions, 8 pharmacies. No further irregularities were found in addition to the earlier non-compliance with the periodic testing procedure.
