Cyprus, Palestine and Poland added an updated list of affected countries with stricter isolation conditions on Friday, with Israel and Slovenia “abandoning” the list, the Health Ministry (SAM) said.

Additionally, travelers who might be exempt from isolation will need to provide proof of this so they don’t have to isolate themselves, the notice notes.

If the documents are presented at an airport or seaport, the isolation exemption will apply immediately. If the person cannot send these documents right away, they can send them by email. Email address [email protected] Confirmation of the custom exemption will be sent by email. Pending approval, individuals will be considered isolated individuals.

Documents proving that a person has developed COVID-19 are not required if the disease has been diagnosed in Lithuania and the data is provided in the information system.

According to SAM, this decision was made because some travelers indicated the alleged isolation exception on the NVSC website before completing the traveler questionnaire, but had no supporting documents when requested by NVSC specialists on the spot.
