According to the resolution adopted by the Government on Monday, the local quarantine is currently announced in Elektrėnai, Joniškis district, Jurbarkas district, Kaunas city, Kelmė district, Klaipėda city, Klaipėda district, Kretinga district, Marijampolė district from Pasvalys, Plungė district, Skuodas district, Šiauliaiė district, Šilauodas district, In the territories of Širvintos district, Švenčionys district, Telšiai district, Trakai district, Vilnius city and Vilnius district municipalities.
Protective masks
In the territories of these municipalities, people over 6 years of age must wear protective equipment (masks, respirators or other means) covering their nose and mouth in public places (both open and closed). This requirement does not apply to people who play sports; High-performance sports and physical activity specialists, high-performance sports and physical activity instructors and judges who participate in high-performance sports exercises or competitions; in public catering establishments while sitting at a table or in a bar, as well as during the provision of a service when the service cannot be provided while the recipient of the service is wearing a mask; performers during events; people with disabilities who, due to their health, cannot wear masks or their use could endanger the health of a person.
These people are recommended to wear a face shield; outside the place of residence (cities, towns, villages, single-family communities, gardener associations) and when there are no other people within a radius of 20 meters, except family members (spouse or registered partner, children (adopted), including children minors, parents (adoptive parents), guardians of the spouse or of the person with whom the registered partnership agreement has been entered into).
Restrictions on access to cultural, leisure, entertainment and sports facilities
The flow of service users and other visitors to cultural, leisure, entertainment and sports institutions will be limited: at least 10 m2. m the area of the premises where the service is provided by a client or another visitor, and a distance of at least 2 meters must be guaranteed between staff, service users or other visitors. This requirement does not apply to high skill sports exercises.
It should be remembered that in the territories where local quarantine has been announced, among other things, there are also restrictions that apply throughout Lithuania.
Last week local quarantine from 2020. Oct 26 00:00 to 2020 Nov 9 24:00 has already been announced in Elektrėnai Territories, Joniškis District, Jurbarkas District, Kelmė District, Klaipėda District , Kretinga district, Marijampolė, Pasvalys district, Plungė district, Skuodas district, Šiauliai district and municipalities of Švenčionys district.
